Featured Arts Courses

The Canadian Lyceum of Greece acknowledges the essential dimension of the Arts in cognitive development and personal growth.   Our featured Arts courses are senior division courses with a focus on performance.  While recognizing that each course is unique, the teachers at The Lyceum adopt an integrated approach to make full use of the incomparable natural landscape of Crete; archaeological sites revealing architecture from the Minoan, Classical, Hellenistic, Roman, Byzantine, Venetian, and Ottoman periods; museums displaying artifacts from these various periods; lectures by visiting artists, artisans, musicians, and writers.

Procedure for Course Selection:
All courses run based on student demand hence all students are kindly requested to select three courses from any category below.  Please list your selection on the application form in order of preference.  Students will be registered in only one course but not necessarily their first choice if the course is not running. We strongly recommend that at least one of your three course selections be chosen from our list of Featured Arts courses or Recommended Academic courses.
